Becoming famous, definitely not notorious.
Not a wish of mine, but I just remembered, a friend once was pretty set on that.
Thing is, notoriety comes from your actions. If you don't control them so well, they affect others in ways you do not (or cannot) foresee - well, then you'll end up being talked about, won't you? Just hope you affect them for good - or you'd really be notorious.
Some days, I'm glad to be insignificant.
