The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives.
Albert Einstein said this. (I have this Einstein quote of the day thing going.)
It is so true.
Adults so often limit themselves to certain views of beauty. And I don't know how many times I've been told to think before I say things that may seem controversial. It invariably makes me feel bad - I never set out to upset anyone, but.
But I really really don't think it's right to shush yourself about somethings. You do things you believe in. If you don't, if you can't honestly believe it is the right thing to do then, I don't think you should do it.
I'm not saying stuff is black and white. I'm not saying you should publicise mistakes. But usually people try to cover up stuff that they didn't believe beyond reasonable doubt was right. So...
Sigh.
I guess I'm a bit of a child in that respect.
Eve.
