What can a kid, with limited funds do to change the world?
Save resources.
Work so that she is not a burden to the world. Once you take care of yourself, you can start to take care of the rest.
Help where she can. Give up your seat for an old lady. Clean a cat shelter. Recycle, donate a little to flaggers, give some time as one. Take care of your friends, your family, so that they will feel the spirit. Pass it on.

Volunteer overseas? Work for a nonprofit organisation. Learn a new language or a new skill that will mean something. Paint a wall of the old folks home?
What else? Come on people, help me help the world....
