I can't believe it.
Haha I actually won one of the three best dressed for that masquerade!
And I got loads of chocolates and a free (extremely late) dinner..
So it wasn't so bad, even if it wasn't really a party...
Yeesh.
None of the posters said the SDU was co hosting it...it was more like really lame speed dating with guys that seemed more - goofy than anything. And nervous. Generally speaking, my dance partners were staring at their feet (though Witono and his friend really made me laugh) and they weren't much of conversationalists.
Anyway, I was laughing inside at it all [it was just so funny to watch]...Which is the only reason my conniving friend Janet hasn't gotten skinned...She knew it was SDU, and got me to go with her, and then backed out on me so I was left trying to figure out what the dudes were actually saying (literally - a bunch were foreigners with strong accents)...
Let's just say she's lucky I've been in a good mood all week...
And I actually let her draw all over my face with her makeup stuff not two hours ago. She's fairer than me so I wiped the gunk off almost as soon as she'd finished, only left the mouth stuff on because that actually looks pretty.
I have to buy makeup this weekend, going Down Under next friday so I have to be prepared for some fun! Haha...Though I think I'm going to be watching a sports game of some sort...
But anyway. I love life, even if I have only gone clubbing once.
Everyone quit canceling on me!
Sigh. Got the rest of term, yes?
