It occured to me this morning that the haze blanketing our country (and region) signals something quite terrifying.The bunch of farmers burning poor innocent trees (what did they do to deserve such inhumane treatment?) in Indonesia are blanketing most of the region in icky, ugly smoke. And irritating eyes, causing headaches, making us get fat from loss of exercise, and making those with sensitive lungs and skin suffer. (I got a huge zit after walking in it for a half hour. Sheesh. Can't even shop!)What happens if some freakish evil terrorist group decides to set up some farmer-inspired attack that spreads chemicals all through South East Asia? They'd just need to spread some chemicals over the place those men burn...Ugh. I think I need to start reading up on terrorist tactics and chemical attacks..Eve.
