Just read 'Cotillion' by Georgette Heyer.. It's a romance novel for the unacquainted. She writes lovely stories. In this one, the sweet little Kitty discovers [after innumerable plots and scrapes and close escapes] that she loves the good hearted dandy Freddy, not the cruel cool Corinthian Jack - and Freddy actually knocks Jack down - I swear my heart stopped, and when he finally kissed her, at the end...sigh...I melted with Kitty...Haha I know it's completely unrealistic, that no man would let himself be put to so much trouble over over a girl he was merely fond of in the first place - and Kitty would have been shamefully used rather than valiantly rescued if it had been real life -But I still love those books. Sort of like I love the song, Holding Out For A Hero [Frou Frou] and all those pretty Celtic ones that just beg for you to get up and dance, with your strong Knight...They don't exist these days. Heroes. But I can dream...Eve.
